Privacy and Security
Fully independent of other publishing interests
We focus solely on our customers' publishing needs
Though we have a substantial background in publishing, Publish2profit.com has no publications or other publishing interests that could conflict with our customers' publications. We focus solely on our customers' needs and are continually improving our software to fulfill those needs.
Every customer gets their own database
No data is mixed between publishers
Every customer gets a unique database that contains only their data and no other publisher’s data. This ensures privacy and no chance of data accidentally leaking from one customer to another. Software development is complicated and giving each of our customers their own database is more work, but well worth it we think.
Secure website
We’ve earned the Trustwave PCI DSS Certificate of Compliance
When you process credit card transactions through our site, you can rest assured that your customers’ credit card information is secure and all transactions are encrypted.
Frequent and secure backups
No need to worry about lost data
All of our clients’ data is backed up every night at our Data Center and downloaded to our office server then to a removable hard drive that is secured off-premises in a fireproof safe. So your data is stored in three separate physical locations, which completely eliminates the possibility of lost data.
State-of-the-art data center
Physical and Logical Security
Your data is hosted at Q9 Networks (http://www.q9.com/), a leading Canadian provider of secure physical infrastructure, including the latest in biometric authentication, video surveillance, and round-the-clock technicians and security officers. This Tier1 data center is located in Calgary, Alberta in a geologically safe, temperate climate that has no risk of hurricanes, earthquakes, floods or any other major natural disasters (though it does snow here once in a while). Calgary is a modern city with substantial wealth from the oil industry and is an excellent place to run a web-based business.
Feature access control
Customizing user access
Your system administrator will be able to control what data users can add, edit, delete, view, and print, according to their level of need. The Ad Sales module alone has over 70 unique feature access options that control what areas of the program your staff has access to.
